Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel Review

Friday, March 15, 2013 0
I recently had the opportunity, by being a BzzAgent to try Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel.  This is a leave on peel that you literally leave on overnight and simply wash your face as normal in the mornings.

Per Garnier website:  The way you use it:  Each night, apply a thin layer of Skin Renew Clinical Dark Spot Overnight Peel to face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on overnight.

Skin Renew Clinical Dark Spot Overnight Peel is powered by Glycolic Vitamin C Complex. The glycolic acid effectively exfoliates and smooths skin, while Vitamin C addresses dark spots. Glycerin and a special acid buffer ensure that the Dark Spot Overnight Peel is gentle on skin to reveal a new radiance

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now.  It has been somewhat difficult to incorporate into my nightly regimen, because I have so much to keep up with, however, I have been diligent and it seems as though my sun spots and some acne marks are not as dark as they were before. Also, the overall feel of my skin is soft and smooth.  I am going to continue to use the Skin Renew and see how much better my skin can look and feel.

The Garnier Skin Renew Clinical Dark Spot Overnight Peel is:

Noncomedogenic and won't clog pores
Safe for all skin types and ethnicities
Available at mass retailers for around $16.99

The lightweight formula contains the Glycolic Vitamin C Complex:

Brightens dull skin through exfoliation
Improves spots and discoloration
Calms and hydrates
A built in buffer helps skin maintain a healthy pH level

The gentle, leave-on peel leaves you with immediate results:

Overnight:  See smoother, hydrated skin
In 1 week:  See brighter skin
In 4 weeks:  See that spots, imperfections and acne marks are significantly reduced.

Garnier Olia Review!

Wednesday, March 13, 2013 0

I color my hair regularly, and I was excited to try the new Garnier Olia.

I was given the opportunity to try Olia through being a Bzz Agent and a sample was provided to me to try.

Olia is an oil-based permanent hair coloring kit. It comes with your standard three steps: Developer, Color, and Conditioner. But the applicator and the formula are where this product stands out. The applicator has an egg shape to it with a long tip for easy application to your roots.

Olia color  was very easy to prepare.  I simply mixed the two tubes together into the applicator and it was good to go.  Easy and NO mess.  I really liked the fact that the solution was oil based.  I have a tendency to make a mess when I dye my hair and I was able to easily wipe drips and drops from the floor, wall and my ears and arms.  No stains were left either.  The color covered all my grey areas and it is dark, bold and black.  Finally, I used the after coloring conditioner, my hair feels so silky and smooth.  I will absolutely use this again the next time I dye my hair.

Cafe Escapes Review!

Thursday, February 28, 2013 0

I am a huge coffee drinker and  I am always willing to try a new flavor or brand. I like tasting a wide variety and keeping a wide selection on hand. This was an excellent opportunity for me because I received 2 sample packs that included many different varieties. They included: cafe vanilla, cafe caramel, mocha chocolate, chai latte, dark chocolate hot cocoa, and milk chocolate hot cocoa.

My absolute favorite is the chai latte.  It was so good.  I also liked the cafe vanilla and cafe caramel.  I usually add sugar substitute and or creamer, but, I didn't have to add anything to these.  The taste was sweet and creamy!  I see many more cups in my future.

Thanks to BzzAgent and Cafe’ Escapes for sending me these samples and letting me try their new flavors!

BzzAgent: TruMoo Chocolate Milk

Thursday, January 24, 2013 1
Everyone in our family is a huge milk drinker, and even more so, when it has chocolate in it!  Recently, by being a BzzAgent, I was able to try a free gallon of TruMoo.

TruMoo Milk is the best milk out there because its the best of both worlds, it's sweet and chocolately without all the sugar . It's really healthy too with antioxidants and vitamins.  By the end of day one, nearly 3/4 of the gallon was gone.  I would have to say it is a very well liked product in this household.

The only problem I had with TruMoo, was that it was pretty hard to find.  I checked their website, trumoo.com, and went through the product locator, but, when I checked some of the listed stores, they did not carry it.  I finally found it at Target, and I am glad I know where it is now.

When you visit the TruMoo website, you can sign up for their email newsletter and get valuable coupons sent to you too!

Bzz Agent Campaign! Post Alpha-Bits Cereal Review!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013 0
As a BzzAgent, this time I was able to review a box of Alpha Bits.  This was an occasional treat and a childhood favorite growing up.  I have since passed on my love of Alpha Bits to my kids.  This particular box is sponsored by the cartoon Super Why, and Whyatt is on the front of the cereal box!

Although this cereal is supposed to be for kids, who try and spell words out of the different alpha bit letters in their bowl, adults alike enjoy it too.  :)  I really liked watching my kids calling out the different letters before they ate the cereal.  It's not too crunchy and not too sweet, good for little ones both with and without milk.

Manufactured by Post this cereal contains a large amount of my daily needed Iron, Thiamine and Vitamin B-12 even before milk is added.
