Borax Review and Giveaway!!

Monday, June 17, 2013 1

20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth and it''s the common name for sodium tetraborate. It's a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes. When it's removed from the ground it is washed then dried and boxed for consumers. It's 100% natural because nothing is added to it. There's no phosphates, chlorine, or any other additive chemicals.
Borax helps boost your detergent by getting your clothes cleaner by naturally softening hard water to improve your detergents cleaning power. It also helps keep stains from being re-deposited back onto your clothes.  Since 85% of homes have hard water it's good idea to have Borax on hand.

To boost your detergent, simply add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to every load, along with your regular detergent.  You will find that it naturally softens hard water and improves your detergent's cleaning power and helps keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes.

I was reintroduced to Borax about a year ago and cannot say enough good things about the 20 Mule Team!  I love the way it boosts my laundry and works with the detergent.  I have a new HE washer so, I have that added setting for a laundry booster, and I love what it does.  The laundry comes out fantastic!
Not only can Borax be used in your laundry but it can be used in your babies laundry to remove those tougher stains. It's also safe to use in your kitchen on counter tops and cookware. It can be used as a dishwasher detergent booster. Borax is a Multi-purpose cleaning product you can learn more Cleaning tips by visiting there website.

Borax has a lot of purposes.

  • Great for removing laundry stains
  • Toilet bowls
  • Garbage disposals and drains

  • Awesome for those hard water problems!

20 Mule Team Borax Review and Giveaway!

Tuesday, January 15, 2013 0
Recently, I was given the opportunity to review 20 Mule Team Borax.  Wow, that is a name that I had not seen or heard of in a while, however, it is absolutely still around and works fantastic!  A friend of mine was at the house last week and saw the box and it literally stopped him in his tracks.  He had to tell stories about his parents and grandparents using Borax and didn't know it was still around.

I think that most everyones grandma or mother had Borax in their laundry room.  I can remember that mine did.  I was surprised to learn some of the ideas that Borax can be used for:

  • cleans
  • deodorizes
  • disinfects
  • softens water
  • repels cockroaches and other bugs

  • I have been using it in the laundry as a detergent booster.  I have a new HE washer that has the booster setting and I was excited to try it out (both the Borax and the setting).  I have seen a positive, noticeable change in the way the clothes have been coming out of the laundry, and there is no 'extra' smell from the Borax, just the fresh scent of the laundry soap.

20 Mule Team Borax is not only a laundry booster, but it is a multipurpose household cleaner as well. 20 Mule Team Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate, which is 100% natural mineral from earth.

Absolutely nothing is added to Borax, including no phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals. 20 Mule Team Borax naturally softens hard water to protect your detergent so it can maximize cleaning power and help remove stains and keep them from being re-deposited back onto clothes.

20 Mule Team Borax is most often used as a laundry booster, but it is extremely versatile and effective as a household cleaner. In addition, 20 Mule Team® Borax can be used in many different ways to reduce and control odors.
