We recently had the opportunity to create and play with (review) three different sets of crafts from Creativity For Kids, and boy, did we have fun!

Although we have opened this set and looked all through it, and ooed and aaahhed, we are saving this one for a birthday party that is rapidly approaching. I thought it would be great fun, and a perfect opportunity for the girls to get together and make something that they could take with them and be proud of.

The Deluxe glitter Art Kit lets kids create a variety of sparkling items such as greeting cards, gift tags, trinket boxes and more. The contents include 6 dry glitters, 6 glitter gels, 3 trinket boxes, glitter rhinestones, glitter gift tags, printed greeting cards with matching envelopes, epoxy stickers, ribbon, craft glue and instructions and ideas.
This is where the fun (and mess) began! I am still finding glitter all around the house. But, the fun we all had is definitely worth it. So far, we have made some cute birthday invites, and a very, very glittery trinket box! We saved some of the glitter, trinket box and gift tags to play with and decorate on a rainy afternoon. The age group for the glitter art is ages 5 to 95. I think that is very appropriate for this type of craft.
This all-inclusive garden craft kit includes a garden dish, potting mix, wheat grass seeds, bark house, leaf-shaped pond, mossy rocks, stepping stones, resin gnomes, toadstools, ladybugs, paint, brush and a mister - just add water and a little sunshine! The garden dish measures 11"w x 2"d. The natural wheat grass seeds are pet friendly and sprout in just a few days.
I was so worried about our Mossy Meadows Gnome Garden, since most everything I try to grow, dies. (including artificial plants lol) However, we have had it growing now for a couple of weeks and I am so excited! It started off with tiny little sprouts and it really is fun to watch the changes. The kids decorated and set up the three little gnomes around the garden, and even painted the dish that it is growing in. The recommended age for the Gnome Garden is ages 7 to 97. Sure does cover a lot of ages. :)
