I recently had an opportunity to try Tiger Balm's Neck and Shoulder Rub. Of course I jumped on the chance to review this. I was introduced to Tiger Balm products in the 80's, however, they have been around much longer than that. Back then, I was on the high school swim team, and it seemed like every muscle in our bodies (my best friend and I) was sore after 4-5 hours of daily swimming. We found Tiger Balm Regular, at our local health food store and it made a tremendous difference to the muscles. I remember we used it throughout our swimming seasons. (of course afterward, due to the water).
Since then, I drifted away from Tiger Balm, for no other reason, than the lack of muscle pain, then, when I did need relief, I just forgot about the little treasure. About a year and 1/2 ago, I was rear ended in a car accident and have had trouble with my back and neck since. I have tried a couple of 'pain relieving' ointments/gels that provide a few minutes of relief, but, an extensive time of stink. However, after using the Neck and Shoulder Rub, from Tiger Balm, I have a lot less noticeable pain in my neck, and a much better aroma around me. Camphor and menthol are the two main ingredients. When applied, I have an immediate cool, soothing feeling, with a pleasant smell. I am so glad to be reintroduced to Tiger Balm and their extended product line.
