Traverse City is one of only four markets to enjoy a LEGO Summer Brickation in the nation. Other Brickation locations include Branson, Mo.; Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and Myrtle Beach, SC.  Whether you are a resident or a visitor to Traverse City, you and your family can enjoy the FREE fun at LEGO  Brickation. During the pop-up LEGO Experience, get your inner builder on by helping to create a custom LEGO Traverse City Mosaic, get your picture taken with life-size Lego Models or be like an Olympian on the LEGO Race Ramp. Duplo play zones are available to the youngest children so they can enjoy the fun too! The avid Lego Collector or the first time LEGO builder will find something for their interest at this event.
The Activities are on going from June 6-July 17, from the start of the summer all the way through to the end of Traverse City’s famous National Cherry Festival.    Read a review of the event by a happy Lego Brickation attendee!
This is a definite must see! There are build stations galore, an incline for racing cars and extremely detailed lego displays. There is also a ship with a padded floor and the edges filled with duplo blocks for younger kids. The life sized lego characters, made of the bricks, will impress. The staff members were super friendly and great with the kids, helping when needed. This is in town only through July 17 so check it while it’s here.   ( Mr. Plover,  reviewer on http://traversecity.findandgoseek.net/listing/lego-summer-brickation/indoor-activities

I wanted to post about this event, that I noticed on Still Blonde after all these year's blog, for my Michigan readers and expecially, my brother, whose son absolutely loves everything Lego!
