Tombow Permanent Adhesive Tape Runner Review

Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Recently, I had the opportunity to review the Tombow Mono Adhesive ergonomic glue dispenser.  This is a wonderful little device that  holds the glue, makes it easy to use with out a mess and has a number of uses, but is especially popular in arts/crafts and scrapbooking.

The Tombow permanent adhesive tape runner has a strong permanent bond and can be used on paper, photos, posterboard and more.  The glue is acid-free and photo-safe.

It is very simple to use:

Pull the cover away from the tip and lock into place.
Grasp applicator with thumb on bottom and index finger on top.
Press against the paper/or item to be glued at a 45 degree angle.
With consistent pressure, slowly roll adhesive onto the surface.
When finished applying the adhesive, lift applicator straight off the surface.

This glue is kid friendly and a long-time favorite in the arts and crafts world. Scrapbookers find it especially helpful as it offers a precise applicator, dries quickly, and is simple to clean up.

If I must compare the system, it is similar to the 'white out' tape, that we once upon a time used for typewriter mistakes.

I really enjoyed using the Tombow adhesive tape runner, as it was very simple and mess free.  I am looking forward to enjoying scrapbooking and crafting with my grandchildren as they come to visit, since it is a very kid friendly product.

The Tombow is also refillable.  When you run out of the tombow adhesive glue, simple order a refill, easily place it in the runner and start crafting again!  The refills are very inexpensive at $1.88 each, and last for quite some time.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
